Why own a cabin at holcomb valley ranch?

Sanctuary. Friendship. Nature. Tradition. Nostalgia. Adventure.
This is what Holcomb Valley Ranch has become for so many of our guests. Cabins are a way to have this time and time again.

SANCTUARY
Leave the city behind, let the mind and pace of the days slow down, be reminded of the beauty and importance of nature and allow oneself to focus on the things that matter most.

TRADITION
“As a child, I spent a lot of time out on lakes with my family. Going to my grandpa’s cottage every weekend to go tubing, fishing, and riding three-wheelers through the woods. Core memories. Living in L.A., I know I can’t give my daughter that same exact experience, but I think Holcomb Valley Ranch is becoming her own version of that place. Painting rocks and pine cones, teaching her how to build a fire... It’s a great feeling to do these things again and again with her, and know these will be her core memories as she gets older.” —ranch guest

FRIENDSHIP
“Gather for no reason, make plans to spend time with the good people in your life, and make sure it’s outside!" —ranch guest

NOSTALGIA
“It’s the horses, and the old tractor, and hearing the property manager’s cowboy stories that makes me feel I’m somewhere else, far away at a time when things were simpler.” —ranch guest

NATURE
The smell of vanilla on the bark of Jeffrey pines, meadow grass waving in the breeze, coyotes howling at dusk, picking a wild onion for your burger. Nature is here anytime you want it.

ADVENTURE
Holcomb Valley is just over the ridge from Big Bear Lake and surrounded by National Forest land. Take off from the ranch to hike the Pacific Crest Trail, climb the Holcomb Pinnacles, or take a Jeep rock crawling down Holcomb Creek. Spend a day in Big Bear snowboarding, skiing, downhill mountain biking, swimming, boating, or fishing. This has got to be the best location in Southern California for outdoor sports and adventure.
